He retired from Golden Foundry with 20 years as a Union Steward and was employed at Wal-Mart for 7 years. He was a member of Carter Monumental C.M.E. Church. She was born December 18, 1926 in Columbus, GA, daughter of Ms Everlena King of Columbus and Edward Bailey of Brownsville, TX. She was a professional caterer and was member of St Benedict Catholic Church. Her mother, 2 sisters, Mrs Malissa (Amos) Hall and Ms Willie Mae Jackson and a great nephew, Damien R Barnes preceded her in death. Survivors include 3 nieces, Ms Evelyn Hall Rice of Cleveland, OH, Ms Earlene Locke of Thomasville, GA and Mrs Willie Ann (J B) Barnes of Columbus, GA; 5 great nephews, Darryl Renato of Columbus, GA, James B.
