Reverenderend Alfred H. Dixon will officiate. Burial will be in Andersonville National Cemetery. He was born August 13, 1952 in Schley County, son of Mr. James William and Ceola Terry Wright. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary S. Wilson and Mrs. Annie W. Storey, two brothers, Mr. James W. Wright and Mr. Eddie Will Wright; four aunts, including Eunice Reagans, an uncle, Mr. Herbert (Gracie) Terry; a great aunt, Ms Johnnie Mae (Moses) Shelton.

Willie Wright, 86, of 5169 Olivia rail, Stone Mountain, GA, formerly of Columbus, GA, died Friday, April 18, 2008 at Dekalb General in Decatur, GA. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 in the chapel of People's Funeral Service in Columbus with Reverend Henry Ratcliff officiating. He was born June 4, 1922 in Clayton, AL; son of Amos and May Bell Walker Wright. He was cared for by the Blacmon and Kinnett families. He became a caddy at Columbus Country Club and became their chauffer. He was a US Army veteran and was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria and his son, Harold Patrick. Survivors include 4 daughters, Judy A Williams of Stone Mountain, Vestchulla Green of Washington, DC, Diana Benton and Dorothy Tripp, both of Columbus; 2 sons, David Michael Pledger of Columbus and Willie Wright Jr. Others include John and Betty Kinnett, Little Joe and Etta Blackmn.
